Hi , just wanted to say a big thanks to the marshalls and first aiders who ran over to pick me up after our mighty crash on the startline [Twinshock D 1st race] ... was'nt really how I wanted to start my come-back to motocross but least me & the bike where sorta ok for the second race and although very sore today will look forward to the next time out at Gillingham.
So again a big shout out to those who picked me up, the guy who helped me push the bike back to the pits [what a star], the gent who applogised for bumping into me [was'nt his fault] and everyone else concerned with a good day !
As Arnie would say
"I'll be back "
All best Greg R #35 Yam 540
Ps, anyone with pics of me , would gladly buy them off you !

I would like to add my thanks to Greg's for the help I received when I took a nose dive on the last lap of race 8. The front wheel slid away on an adverse cambered bend and I hit the deck before I could say “Sh----”. Copped a mighty wallop to my ribs and the side of my head.
The First-Aiders at the track were first class and arranged for me to visit Salisbury A&E in a nice air-conditioned Ambulance. I am extremely grateful to Kevin and other Dorset Club members for recovering my bike and loading it on my trailer. Especially to Karen and her husband who took my car and trailer to their home, brought my street clothes and mobile phone to the Hospital and later on returned my car to me at the hospital. Without their help, I am not sure how I would have managed.
The staff at the Hospital were all kind and helpful even though they had to deal with a continuous flow of injured people, mostly wearing motocross gear, there must have been at least seven!
After four hours of monitoring and a chest X-Ray I was allowed to leave. Fortunately the bike wasn't damaged and none of my ribs were broken, it just feels like they are. ;D
Kind regards,
John A - 268
