Well it aint started too well. It was supposed to be the firms do today (24th) A last minute delivery of Bradstone of which is in very short supply at the moment turned up on site only for the pallet to break mashing the stone beyond use  Two of our blokes ran in sick couldn't make the "do" another had to be else where. Then Half n hour before i was about to go to the pub i had an emegency call out; lights failed in two blocks of flats 30 miles a way  Guess what missed my own do Still off out to the pub now ;D |

Well I'm not sure if it is a happy one, as I went out for a quick half with the boys (& lovely girls) at work about 12.15 on Xmas Eve lunchtime. Then got dragged (reluctantly you understand) on to a local Traders Xmas do (different pub), followed by the annual Fordingbridge Brewery reunion, then the Friends of the Firefighters seleb..sheleb.. celebrashunnns.  Seemed to be good fun at the time, but got taken home about 8 isssshhh 'cos either sombody put something in my glass or I was unfortunate to pick up a nasty bug at the bottom of one of the (numerous) glasses, which made me a bit unstable . Still feel much better now, so Happy New Year to all @ DCSC & hope 2009 is as sucessful for the club as 2008 has been. P.S. don't forget the Festive Funtrial on Sunday morning (& afternoon) - come & have a laugh with/at us.  |

FESTIVE FUNTRIAL” on Sunday 28th December 2008 will commence @ 10.30am with approximately 1 hour of controlled warm up/practice/training session with some practical tips & assistance
Barcombe Farm, Alton Pancras, Nr. Dorchester, Dorset. DT2 7RT
The route to the start area will be signed from the B3143 road on the outskirts of Alton Pancras, between the villages of Piddletrenthide & Buckland Newton.
