 Brilliant day out ,,,,,,the overnight rain & the drizzle all day made it a tad slippery & claggy ,,,,,,that made it very interesting for most of the field ,,,,,but aces are aces & the top runners just seemed to deal with anything chucked at them . The contrasts of style were great , you had super smooth Len Hutty on his matchless 410 , & then Belgiums K Thibaut on a 350 ariel with a feet up valve bouncing speedway style at times ,,,,,fantastic to watch ,,,,both of them ,,,,, There were a lot of names there , but these were just two i watched on one of the worst sections ,,,,,,, They had a new starting arangement this year ,,,,  Its allso nice to see proper stuff with no aircraft tubing frame mods ect , this is M Neal on a 1949 flat twin Douglas 350 ,,,,  he rides the A course ,,,,,,,i fell in love with that bike 9 years ago ..  The photos dont do the hills justice ,,,,,  The chairs had a hard time , you could hear flat out engines coming round the bend just to run out of steam in the clag  , Ohh well till next year ,,,,,,,rich ,

Len hutty wone it , i cant belive he only droped 3 marks on that course ,,,,,,,,,brilliant stuff,,,,
