new member seeks advice

Hi everyone,i am going to join the club for the 2008 season after hearing great things about you all.I have a 1978 ktm 250 and used to ride many years ago but my two sons ride schoolboy motocross and i spend all my time spannering for them!Anyway decided that it was about time for me to enjoy riding again.I have never rode twin shock events so any advice from you experienced guys would be gratefully received and i look forward to meeting you all next season.
