just wondering how overall positions are calculated. What are the points for 1st 2nd etc and how are equal overall points decided?

As is my understanding, first gets 1 point, seconds 2 and so on, then lowest overall score wins and so forth. In the event of a DNF your score is the number of riders in your group, eg 36 or such. In the event of score ties I believe they go back and look at finishing positions.

In the event of a tie the better result in the last race wins.
