From what I seen they where going into their 4th lap why was it not stopped in the first it looks to me all you have to do is have a crap start and if your not in front go to the clerk of course and have a paddy have a restart I really feel sorry for other riders in the race just a word of warning once they do it once they will do it all the time. These are just my thoughts and not aimed @ you in any way other than that a very good meeting . While I would be the first admit that the situation was less than perfect I still think that the right decision was made. There were a number of factors that I don't propose to go into here to take in to consideration and appropriate action took place. Being an official at a scramble means you have to make difficult decisions sometimes that will not please everyone particularly if they are not in full position of all the facts. But rest assured that any of the Dorset Classic officers will make a fair, honest and unbiased decision. I am quite willing to discuss this subject further with you if you would like make yourself known to me at an event in the near future or Penselwood.

On behalf of Dorset Classic Scramble Club many thanks for all your kind words (emails phone calls etc). You have all helped to contribute to another successful meeting at which another £1000 was raised for charity. We have a reduced rider capacity at Penselwood 24th July so get those entries in. We had to send back 25 entries from this scramble! Regs are available for Penselwood and The Clash of the Titans (new venue) 25th September on our web site Dorsetclassic.com or AMCA www.amca.uk.com/fixtures/clas...yformdownloads

pics will on the Dorset site soon, hope you like them and i know you prefer group shots, which is not always easy as after the first half a lap it is a procession, not with the way riders were grouped at Dorset Classic it was close racing right the way through all the groups and helped make better pics, hope you enjoy them ,cheers Nick

A Tale of Gillingham:
There was once a silly B and his dog called Guinness. Well, this silly B in his usual confused state, miss read the programme and concluded that the last Twin Shock C race immediately followed the Pre 74( note that being able to read does not denote intelligence).
Anyway the silly B rode he race oblivious to the fact he should not have been there. And, having looked at the results offers sincere apologies to all who suffered.
Guinness also apologies for p_ _ ing on many wheels and promises not to do it again.
Beat me with a stick when you see me but not too hard I'm confused enough.
