Can anyone clarify the pre 74 class with regard to Huskys. Some 74 Huskys have angled shocks for greater travel at the rear wheel. Does this still qualify for pre 74 or do I have to look for a 73 bike? Anyone got one for sale?

I certainly don't claim to be any sort of Husky expert but i know that a lot of bikes were having their rear shocks moved forward/laid down at that time, especially Maicos. I guess a lot of it depends where you are going to race pre '74. The Cira series is quite reflexed about age of bike allowing some '77 bikes to compete. From our clubs point of view it needs to be within the spirit of pre '74 (what ever that really means). The last think I want to see is our club having to find experts for each marque to check them for originality before each meeting.

May be something as simple as 4 inch max rear suspension movement rule included in the entry form for any class up to 1974 would clarify it. & could be easily checked when signing on.
