Hi all again, well the bike build continues, need to seek advice on shocks now . the bike is TT500 subtle modifications. i need to purchase some rear shocks, approx 15.25 - 15.5 inches long. on a bubget like everyone else, would like a 2nd hand pair of works or ohlins, however from the new shock available in my price range out of NJB or Falcon does anyone have any preferences or comments to make about either. any advice, gratefully received .

Hi , expect to pay £250 + for 2nd hand shocks and depending on adjustment £400 + for new ones , give Chris Elderfield M/cycles a bell he has stock of YYS & others ... only issue will be arriving at the right spring-rate / pre-load / damping rate ... I got lucky with mine straight out of the box but then they did cost a small fortune. Way I look at it , you can have the most powerfull motor out there but if the bike dont handle its going no where , so time & money spent on the handling is the best investment you will make on the over all performance of the bike and ultimately your days racing ! ... all best Greg
