ok, me again, sorry for what appear to be more daft questions. I am hoping to ride the TT500 in everyday twinshock events, can somebody please advise what colour number plate and number coimbination i am supposed to have? i have looked at photos in the gallery but they do not seem to follow a pattern? should it Black number on Yellow background because it's a 500 or is white number on Black background because it's classic??

AMCA Classic Rule Book Standing Regulations & Sporting Code states 40 Racing Numbers Machines must be equiped with three plates, one facing forward and one on each side to the rear of the the swing arm pivot bolt and to be clearly visible when the rider is on the machine (sitting or standing). Figures must be a minimum height of 6" (152mm) and 1" inch (2.5mm [I'm fairly sure they mean 25mm :-)] wide
41 Colours of racing plates White numbers on Red Plates - Pre'74 White numbers on Black Plates - Pre'65 Yellow numbers on Black Plates - Twinshocks
Bet you haven't seen many twinshocks that conform! We don't strictly enforce this rule but numbers must visible for the lap scorers and the Clerk of the Course ;-)
