Hi and happy new year to all.
thought i would try and get ahead of the game and apply for the classic license renewal now!
hopefully completed online, however they asked for race number and then would not let me type it in??? took all the other details and the money (cc details) gave confirmation all was well then told me i had an incomplete transaction!! is it possible to retain the race number year on year? or do you get a new one every year?

Did you have an AMCA licence last year? If you did you should be able to have the same number this year. If you only had a day licence last year the number you are asking for maybe already allocated.

yep, started back at damerham in the twinshock D, caused no end of hassle which i apologised for at the time, as i entered on a BSA victor! then managed to finish the TT500 in time, which performed far better than the rider!

I'll check it out on the club officials bit of the AMCA web site tomorrow after the trial. We have to approve membership of the club before they send out licences but the application usually goes through first ok.

thanks Chris, was hoping to ride tomorrow and pass the membership forms back by hand, not to be this time. at least henstridge won't suffer in the same way as Brook with the rain.

Our bit of the AMCA web site doesn't seem to have been updated this year yet, but you are still listed as a Dorset member. I suspect they are just not yet quite organised for this year.
