The removable side frame rails from the top tube down to the footrest position are the best clue, but also the shape of the front mudguard mounting is almost unique. I think Paul Feltham had one of the smaller engined versions, but his had the stabilisers fitted ( which were rather flimsy).

A,haa i new it was a 348 after hondafans clues ,,,,,,i had at least 2 of them in there day ( 25 bloomin years ago ;D), but prefered Bultacos , because they reved out better on our local long sand hills ,,,,,,,,,cant help you on the forks all our mont stuff went to finland last year ,,,,,,,you must get your self to kempton park , nr london when the auto jumbles are on ,,,,,,,theres masses of trials/ scrambles stuff in bits stuck in obscure corners , youve just got to know what your looking for ,,,,,,,,,good luck with it ,,,,LR,,,

Looked fine on sunday , OJW,,,,nice to see a lot of the origional bits still on there ,,,,,,,,,if you ever need to strip the motor ,,, ,,,,,the gear box is a knack or a nightmare ,,,,,,,,it certainly looks like a good one to keep hold of ,,,,,,,Lr ,

if you ever need to strip the motor ,,, About that, during the trial it kept jumping out of every gear, often mid section! Probably best I didn't start whipping it apart today then! I'm sure I've read somewhere about adding/replacing a ball bearing somewhere in the gear changing system for a more positive change, any ideas?
